WINNER
The operation is part of a complex recovery plan to turn the entire disused railway network into a bike path. The track has a length of 42 km with no interruptions. This is a great opportunity for environmental renovation of the coast, since the old railway is located for the most part right at the seaside. At the former railway stations the project involves the creation of squares and high-quality public spaces, equipped with urban furniture, green spaces, trees, fountains and water games.
These are the general characteristics of the track: colored asphalt, trees and green spaces, urban furniture of the highest quality, parking areas integrated into the landscape.
