Before the renovation, the Villa, unused for many decades, was in severe decline, with collapsed portions, sometimes almost totally destroyed, deteriorated floors with collapses.
The original organization of the external and internal spaces was though recognizable, together with the articulation of the vertical distributions (noble staircase).
From this starting point, after a careful historical research, the restoration of the building started, including the recovery of pre-existing indoor and outdoor spaces. Where collapses were consistent, the project has philologically reconstructed the missing parts. Internally everything valuable has been preserved, restoring or rebuilding collapsed parts.
